IP Bridge Enters into New Patent License Agreement for IP Bridge’s Wireless Telecommunications Standard-Essential Patents

 TOKYO, JAPAN, June 23, 2017 – – Godo Kaisha IP Bridge 1, a wholly-owned subsidiary of IP Bridge, Inc. (“IP Bridge”), announced today that on June 22, 2017 it entered into a patent license agreement with a multinational company under which IP Bridge granted such company a license under IP Bridge’s portfolio of wireless telecommunications standard-essential patents (including the GSM, W-CMDA and LTE wireless telecommunications standards). The agreement grants the licensee a worldwide license to practice the claimed inventions in connection with its products and services (including smartphones). Other terms of the agreement are confidential.

 IP Bridge is the owner of more than 800 standard-essential patents covering technologies relating to the implementation of wireless telecommunication air interface standards, and is committed to licensing its standard-essential patents on FRAND terms.
