Director of Corporate Planning & IP Acquisition
Minoru Fujiki leads corporate management matters at IP Bridge, including corporate communication (media relations), investor relations, IP policy issues as well as corporate strategies. He is also responsible for patent acquisition and the development of new IP-based business models including patent licensing programs.
Background: NEC Corporation
Prior to joining IP Bridge, Mr. Fujiki was head of the IP licensing group for an NEC-owned telecommunications network business. He has won industry-wide praise for his ability to generate hundreds of millions in profits (U.S. dollars) for NEC based on licensing and patent sales. Mr. Fujiki also launched the European Intellectual Property Centre in London, where he, as head of the Centre, created a patent prosecution platform and formulated internal IP regulations for NEC’s local R&D entities, thereby considerably enhancing NEC’s global IP portfolio. He has managed SEP licensing issues in European Telecommunications Standards Institutes (ETSI) and served as a delegate at Next Generation Mobile Networks (NGMN) alliance.
Mr. Fujiki holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Applied Physics from the University of Electro-Communications in Tokyo.
