Minoru Fujiki is as CEO and COO, responsible for all of the IP-related business including the Licensing, IP Risk Management and Innovation. He is also responsible for the functions of corporate planning and corporate communications. He has worked in intellectual property fields over 25 years.
Background: NEC Corporation
Prior to joining IP Bridge, Mr. Fujiki was head of the IP licensing group for an NEC-owned telecommunications network business. He has won industry-wide praise for his ability to generate hundreds of millions in profits (U.S. dollars) for NEC based on licensing and patent sales. Mr. Fujiki also launched the European Intellectual Property Centre in London, where he, as head of the Centre, created a patent prosecution platform and formulated internal IP regulations for NEC’s local R&D entities, thereby considerably enhancing NEC’s global IP portfolio. He has managed SEP licensing issues in European Telecommunications Standards Institutes (ETSI) and served as a delegate at Next Generation Mobile Networks (NGMN) alliance.
Mr. Fujiki holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Applied Physics from the University of Electro-Communications in Tokyo.
