Director of IP Risk Management
Takeo Yoshimura leads the IP Risk Management Division, where he focuses on minimizing the IP risk within operating companies. Additionally, as Director of the Licensing and Innovation Divisions, he leads the patent licensing efforts in the fields of display and other technologies, and drives the innovation business taking advantage of his deep IP experience. His expertise spans automotive, software, home appliances, mechanical components and electronics industries.
Prior to joining IP Bridge and over the last two decades, Mr. Yoshimura earned a reputation as a seasoned patent prosecutor, license negotiator, and litigator for Sanyo Electric in Japan. He received particular acclaim for steering the company through complex patent litigation and licensing negotiations with a Japanese LCD manufacturer, resulting in a ground breaking licensing agreement in 2014. Mr. Yoshimura began his career as one of the youngest members in the IP division at Sanyo, prosecuting patent applications before several major global patent offices. Today he is a highly respected expert in the field of electronic devices such as semiconductors, LCD, Organic EL Display, LED and image sensors.
Mr. Yoshimura holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering from Tsukuba University.
