IP Bridge, Inc. has established the following privacy policy on the basis of the “Personal Information Protection Act”, and pledges to comply with the policy and handle personal information appropriately.

1  (Compliance with Laws and Regulations)

IP Bridge recognizes the appropriate protection of personal information to be its critical social responsibility. In order to fulfill this responsibility, IP Bridge will perform operations in compliance with the Personal Information Protection Act, its related laws, regulations, internal rules, and other guidelines.

2  (Purpose of Use)

IP Bridge intends to use personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the following purposes. Unless in cases where consent is obtained or is in accordance with the law, we will not use personal information beyond this scope.

IP Bridge acquires personal information by legal and appropriate means to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use.

4  (Safety Management Measures)

IP Bridge will take necessary and appropriate safety management measures as described below in order to prevent leakage, loss, and damage of personal information.

① Ensuring the accuracy of information

We will strive to ensure that all personal information we receive are always accurate and up to date.

② Safety management measures

We will strictly manage personal information in accordance with our organizational safety management measures established and implemented upon internal regulations.

③ Supervision of employees

We will enforce strict implementation of personal information handling rules and provide necessary training to our employees in accordance with our company regulations.

④ Supervision of third parties

If we outsource the handling of personal information to a third party, we will only do so to a third party that meets the requirements of our company regulations and will supervise them in an appropriate manner.

⑤ Retention period and destruction of personal information

We will set a retention period for the personal information that are provided to us, and will destroy them when the retention period elapses. Personal information still within the retention period will be promptly destroyed when it is no longer needed.

5  (Consent)

IP Bridge will not disclose or provide personal information to third parties without obtaining prior consent from clients, unless specified under laws and regulations or when entrusting personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use. In addition, except in cases permitted by the law, we will not disclose or provide personal information to a third party in a foreign country without obtaining prior consent of our clients to do so.

IP Bridge may share personal information within the following scope in order to achieve the purpose of use as outlined above in (2).

7  (Continuous Efforts)

We will review this privacy policy as necessary in accordance with changes in laws and regulations, and will make continuous efforts for its improvement.

8  (Changes to this Privacy Policy)

As a general rule, IP Bridge will not change the purposes described in (2) above except with the prior consent or our client. However, this does not apply to cases where the changed purposes are publicly announced in advance to the extent that is reasonably considered to have sound relevance to the purpose of use before the change.

9  (Requests for Disclosure, etc. of Personal Information)

IP Bridge will endeavor for appropriate and prompt response if a client requests for disclosure, correction, deletion, or suspension of use of the retained personal information that is held by IP Bridge. We will respond in a sincere and prompt manner to questions, opinions, complaints, etc. regarding the handling of personal information.
