IP Bridge, Inc. (Chiyoda-ku Tokyo) (IP Bridge) members participated in “IPBC Japan 2018” (organized by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM)) in Tokyo on September 13, 2018 as moderator and “IPBC Asia 2018” (also organized by IAM) in Shanghai on December 2 to 4, 2018 as speaker.
Director of corporate planning and IP procurement, Minoru Fujiki, moderated a session titled “Enabling SMEs” at IPBC Japan 2018 where he and other speakers discussed how to energize SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprise) from an IP aspect, including new models of patent licensing and technology transfers.
License Program Manager, Koichi Kishida, presented as a speaker in a session titled “Dispute Navigation”. In this session, he discussed various dispute resolution approaches in Japan, including how to solve disputes without litigation and how to improve chances of success. He also exchanged his thoughts with other speakers from China, Korea and Taiwan.
